What Else You Need to Know: This creamy, non-drying lipstick, made with tapioca pearls mixed with fatty acid waxes, features a velvety matte finish that looks (and feels) good on lips. A Few Standards:

What do I want out of my lipstick? First and foremost, it must be vegan and cruelty free. I will try any lipstick in any form and any formulation; this means I can do stick form, tube, crayon, stain, balm, satin, sheer, matte, glossy, etc. I always prefer matte liquid lipsticks, and I love gloss, but like I mentioned, I will try them all. My lippie of choice must look good with or without a lipliner, it must be long-lasting, not bleed or smear, touch up well and not smell full of chemicals. Lastly, it must be opaque, which is just a fancy word for saying the product has good colour payoff. Bonus points if it’s organic, ethically made, and environmentally friendly.

Review:

*This product is vegan, cruelty free and gluten free.*

PROS:

✔Vegan & Great Ingredients ✔Doesn’t Smear ✔Pretty Colour ✔Simple Packaging ✔Durable ✔Travel Friendly

✔Longwearing ✔Doesn’t Dry Out My Lips CONS: --May Be Considered Pricy Depending On Your Budget

Let’s begin with the packaging. The Power Move Soft Matte Lipstick comes in a matte, gray packaging that holds the classic teardrop taper and has the Bite Beauty “B” on the side. Personally, I like the packaging because it’s nice and simple. The lipstick can be thrown in a bag or purse, and I found the packaging to be protective and durable.

Moving on to the shade options. Personally, I think there’s so many to pick from (at the time of writing this, there are 20 shades available), so depending on your likes and needs, you’ll most likely be able to find a shade that suits you best.

Now, the best part in my opinion: the formulation. Personally, I really like the formula. It’s matte but comfortable. It doesn’t dry out my lips and the lipstick stays on for a long, long, long time. Now, depending on what you eat and how greasy it is, some transfer may happen, and some lipstick may rub off- but personally, I didn’t mind that. With lipstick, I am used to re-applying and it’s not something that bothers me. This lipstick is said to be formulated with cocoa butter and tapioca pearls mixed with fatty acid waxes which is why it has such a smooth, and pigmented application. I found the colour payoff to be great, as mentioned the colour stayed on for a long time, and I do think with some of these ‘bolder’ colours it’s nice to apply and not have to worry about looking like a clown shortly thereafter. The colour stays on, your lips will feel comfortable, and all in all, I think it’s a win.

Tip: If you have dry lips, or live in a dry area, feel free to apply a nightly lip mask and exfoliate your lips in the morning before applying this product.

As mentioned, I will have two review blogs on two shades: Radicchio and Hot Tomato, but I have purchased the following (and love them all) Radicchio, Hot Tomato, Praline, Fig and Cayenne.
